As one of a number of copywriters, I produced a number of scripts to be considered for a 30 second series sell, under the creative direction of Derrick Chamlee and John Ruppenthal. Our goal was to identify something different about this nature documentary that distinguished it from many others like it.
One key feature was that the host consistently put himself up close and personal with wild animals and the people who live and work with them.
